Sixth Form

GEMS CIK has a fully inclusive Sixth Form, offering a diverse portfolio of courses to meet the needs of all learners. 2019-2020 will see the third year of Sixth Form study at GEMS CIK.  We boast an impressive track record of scholarships to international universities and institutions of higher education. We believe our small class sizes, extra-curricular opportunities, corporate, and university connections contribute to our outstanding outcomes.

Our subject offers are reliant on sufficient numbers wishing to take the different courses and may, therefore, change depending on demand. Moving into the Sixth Form is a significant moment and GEMS CIK has many support mechanisms in place to support and challenge learners depending on their needs.

Life in the Sixth Form presents students with opportunities to develop deep interests – cultural, intellectual, sporting, to take initiatives, to hold positions of considerable responsibility, to serve others, to learn to lead, and to work in a team. At its best, life in the Sixth Form encourages students to cope, with a greater degree of independence than ever before. We aim to ensure our young people to be prepared for independent life beyond school.
